IN-HOME 1:1 SESSIONS

Bring our education to your home with personal lessons from our In-Home Specialist. Each session is customized to the needs, interests and skillset of the child and the set-up of your home. Your child will receive a 1:1 lesson focused on educational well-being while uncovering his/her natural joy of learning. The parent will receive consultation on academic benchmarks and ways to translate each child’s behaviors/needs along with ideas on how to set up your home to make it conducive to your child’s education and independence. We provide all materials, lesson plans and inspiration. This is not a tutoring program. It is a customized education service based upon the goals, schedule and budget of each family and includes our unique Grasshopper Academics Sight Word Curriculum. This option is open to all families, including those not enrolled in our school. Does your child attend a play-based preschool and need a little educational instruction? Is your child in elementary and in need of extra help or additional challenge? This customized approach is perfect for you. Invite a friend to join our sessions and split the rate between 2 or 3 families. This option makes for a budget-friendly experience!
Ages 3 y.o. through elementary. Sessions can be year-round or follow the school calendar, September - June

GET CREATIVE
Grasshopper Montessori is not limited to the above services. We encourage parents to be creative with the learning process. If you have a need that is not addressed here and think we can be of assistance, please email the director at marnie@grasshoppermontessori.com. We are always open to new approaches and welcome the opportunity to brainstorm ideas and offer expertise in order to achieve your educational and family goals.
READING BOOSTER
Does your kindergartener, 1st grader or 2nd grader need help with reading? Schedule a 1:1 with Miss Jennifer to boost your child’s reading challenges into grade level fluency. She uses Montessori materials along with self-created activities to make reading simple yet challenging and fun. Students will gain confidence, improve accuracy and learn to enjoy reading again. Coordinate a session after school that fits your schedule. Sessions are a minimum of 2 hours, once a week, offered year-round.
$70/hr. Minimum of one 2 hr. session per week
TEST PREP
Does your child need to pass an exam or interview to attend your desired school? Will he/she be taking the test for advanced placement in elementary? Miss Natalie can work with your child on specific skills necessary to pass such exams. She will bring out your child’s greatest academic potential to give him or her the best chance at getting into your preferred program.
$70/hr. Minimum of one 2 hr. session per week
HOME SCHOOL SUPPORT
For the homeschooling family, this program is intended to provide guidance, support and professional experience to successfully educate your kids at home. Be empowered with tangible steps, academic bench marks and lesson plans to create a productive exchange between the child and parent-as-teacher. We use the materials you have at home along with your unique environment and goals to help you produce a fruitful academic year. Sessions are a minimum of 2 hours, once a week, conducted October – May.
$70/hr: 2-hour minimum
Ongoing sessions or one-time consultations are available.

FRIDAY FUN NIGHT !
The first Friday of every month, join us for a party! Drop off the kids while you enjoy a night on the town or at home in peace and quiet! Every month is a different event, from craft night to movie night to food fun. Kids show up in their pajamas and slippers, or clothes if preferred...we do the rest. Cheese pizza, apples slices and all entertainment provided. FFN is not limited to our enrolled students. Siblings and children ages 3-7 are welcome. Grasshopper Alum are always welcome too!
FFN runs the first Friday of every month, October – June, rain or shine!
5-8pm - $40/student or $55/2 siblings
RENT OUR SPACE!
Need a location to host an event or your child’s birthday party? Our facility offers a variety of activities with an indoor party room and a neighboring park that includes a large play structure, open field, splash park (in the summer months) and a basketball court. We even have an optional quaint theater experience. An ideal party might look like: Kids arrive and enjoy a movie in the theater, head outside for active, sun-filled play then return to the school for all your birthday festivities. We have open space, a full kitchen and a theater with enough room for up to 15 kids. Just bring your own cake, DVD and party supplies.
$50/hr, minimum 2 hours
$20 additional for use of theater
$100 refundable deposit
